The small core of the delivery fibre is what gives the beam quality — M² below 1.1 — and that in turn is what allows kilowatt power to be focused into the narrowest achievable spot. It is the combination precision cutting and 3D SLM printing need, and back-reflection protection makes it safe on copper and brass.
