Both weld up to four times faster than TIG with almost no distortion and a far smaller heat-affected zone, and both carry a pre- and post-weld cleaning function. Dynamic beam oscillation increases penetration by up to 40 % without filler wire and up to 140 % with it. The Plus adds laser cladding — repairing worn shafts, gears, dies and moulds, and filling cavities and cracks in castings. The system can also be mounted on an industrial robot and driven over MODBUS TCP.
